OPPO US Research Center is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Information Security Lead to take ownership of our data protection, cybersecurity, and information security programs. This individual will play a key role in preparing the company for CISA audits, implementing real-world security solutions, and supporting IT infrastructure operations as needed.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$200,000 bonus long term incentives benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
Requirements
- Lead the preparation for CISA audits, ensuring compliance with data and information security requirements.
- Design, implement, and maintain hands-on cybersecurity solutions, including firewalls, endpoint protection, DLP, and identity/access management.
- Draft and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with U.S. best practices.
- Actively monitor, assess, and respond to security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities
- Conduct regular risk assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability scans.
- Maintain security systems and documentation required for regulatory compliance .
- Serve as the liaison for cybersecurity initiatives across departments.
- Train staff on security awareness and best practices.
- Work closely with the IT team and contribute to IT infrastructure support, including Network administration, Helpdesk operations and Microsoft O365 tenant administration
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (Preferred)
- Fluent in Chinese (spoken and written)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5 years of hands-on experience in information security or cybersecurity roles
- Strong background in network, endpoint, and cloud security - Experience with CISA audit preparation and NIST compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with endpoint protection, and encryption
- Industry certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC
- Strong hands-on technical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Able to operate independently
- Clear communicator with ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones
