Contract Details :
Job Title : Site EHS Manager
Type of contract : Long-term At-will
Expected Hiring Date : July 2026
Scope : Site- Adrian
Responsibilities :
Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, OHSAS
Ensure compliance with all State and Federal Regulations
Ensure compliance with all hazardous and solid waste, wastewater, storm-water, air permitting/air quality,
Perform safety investigation for Worker’s Compensation
Maintain OSHA required safety programs
Maintain OSHA log
Ensure proper reporting of accidents/incidents
Investigate all accidents and injuries
Write and follow up on safety work orders
Conduct housekeeping audits
Control all MSDS’
Lead safety committee
Maintain site emergency plan
Train and certify all forklift operators
Plant representative for ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001
Approve new chemicals for plant use, update inventory list as needed
Ensure all reporting requirements are met
Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities
Other duties as assigned
Assisting management and others as applicable and/or who perform LOTO work, to interpret the standards and regulations as they apply to the work being performed
Assisting management and other departments in writing equipment specific lockout/tagout procedures
Assisting in the coordination of appropriate training for Authorized Lockout/Tagout Employees and providing training for the assigned Lockout/Tagout Champions
Overseeing and managing the implementation of the intent of LOTO program/procedures and resolving any situation not directly addressed by this program
Performing annual review of lockout/tagout program and procedures for specific compliance issues and updates as needed
Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises
Work requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing
Must be able to lift up to 33lbs on a regular basis
Work requires working under high and low temperatures at certain times
Ideal Candidate Profile :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
5 years safety and environmental experience
Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
Certified forklift driver
Ability to train others
Multi-tasking
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Must have excellent organization skills
