What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at Ophthalmology Consultants?
We're looking for two people to be a full-time Technicians on our team. Will even hire someone with no experience if they are eager and willing to learn the job. On the Job training provided, along with guided certification training if desired.
Responsibilities
Bringing patients into the back office, taking a detailed chief complaint and medical history, assist the doctor in procedures and perform vision testing, as well as diagnostic testing to include Refraction and Cataract Surgery IOL calculations.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to speak/read/write English. Proficient in typing as well as using Windows.
