Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, personable, and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our team. This is an entry-level position, and we welcome non-traditional candidates or those looking to transition into the healthcare field.
No prior medical experience is necessary—we provide comprehensive, on-the-job training. Candidates with a background in foreign languages, particularly Mandarin Chinese, are strongly encouraged to apply. As our practice grows and your skills develop, your compensation will increase accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Support: Assist in day-to-day operations and general upkeep of the medical practice.
- Scheduling: Schedule and confirm patient appointments and physician referrals.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls, route calls to appropriate staff, and coordinate mailing lists.
- Patient Greeting: Warmly greet visitors, ascertain the purpose of their visit, and direct them accordingly.
- Records Management: Compile and record medical charts, reports, and relevant correspondence.
- Intake & Forms: Interview patients to complete insurance, privacy, and registration forms.
