The Opportunity
We’re hiring a fully trained Ophthalmic Technician 2 with 2 years of refracting experience. You’ll handle pre-exam workups, patient history, and diagnostic testing—playing a key role in patient care and supporting our physicians in diagnosing and treating eye conditions.
What You’ll Do
Perform vision testing: distance/near acuity, peripheral vision, depth & color perception
Apply anesthetic, dilating, and medicated drops
Collect/process specimens
Triage urgent cases and maintain clinic flow
Prep rooms and assist physicians during procedures
Perform basic equipment maintenance
Follow infection-control and confidentiality standards
What You’ll Need
Ability to work across all specialties and perform all ancillary tasks
Minimum 2 years refracting experience
Excellent verbal and written communication
Patient-focused, outgoing, and service-oriented
Calm, dependable problem-solver
Positive attitude; strong team player
Flexible and comfortable with change
Ocular pharmacology knowledge is a plus, not required
Ability to stand/walk frequently and lift up to 10 lbs
