We are looking for a high-energy, organized Host & Carry-Out Specialist to be the face of our restaurant. In this dual role, you’ll be the master of first impressions—balancing the flow of our dining room while ensuring our "to-go" guests receive their meals accurately and on time.
What You’ll Do

The Welcome: Greet guests with a genuine smile, manage the waitlist, and seat parties to balance server workloads.

Order Management: Take phone and walk-in carry-out orders with 100% accuracy using our POS system.

Quality Control: Double-check every "to-go" bag for correct items, condiments, and utensils before it leaves the kitchen.

Flow Master: Coordinate with the kitchen and servers to provide guests with accurate wait times.

The Finish: Process payments quickly and ensure the entryway and host station remain clean and organized.

Requirements

Must be able to stand for long periods.

Basic math skills for handling cash and tips.

Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but a great attitude is mandatory!
You will create the first and last impression of the Guest experience. You will warmly welcome Guests on arrival. Seat them according to their preferences and availability. You will also ensure Guests are receiving memorable experiences by supporting Servers and other FOH Associates. You will be the last person to wish them an even better day and invite them to return.
As a Carry out/ Host Associate you will be part of a team that will process orders, payments and help properly pack Carry-out orders.
- Warmly and graciously greet all Guests upon arrival.
- Open the front door for Guests entering or leaving the restaurant.
- Manage the Wait-list during high volume
- Learn Guest names and preferences - let them know how important they are
- Inquire about the Guests' experience and handle ... or inform the right person
- Thank Guests as they leave and invite them to return.
- Take Carry out orders in-person, on phone, or through the tablet
- Enter orders, send to kitchen and process payments
- Pack food according to standards, prepare for hand off.
- Complete daily sidework and set up for next shift.
Additional Information
- No previous restaurant experience required.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of our Guests
