The Ohio Public Employees Retirement System is seeking a Systems Administrator III to join our Platform Support team. If you have a passion for server planning, designing, managing, and partnering with IT Security. What you’ll bring
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field with at least 4 years of server and systems administration experience OR a high school diploma/GED along with at least 10 years of experience
- Must have previous project management experience
- Must have demonstrated the ability to provide expert level technical support, resolving complex issues.
- Windows and Linux server administration, support and design is a must along with experience with Server Virtualization (VMWare) and Scripting experience
- Network administration or IT security related experience is a plus
- A related or other industry-related certification is a bonus
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs
- Requires rotational on-call with occasional night and weekend work
- A collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere
- A competitive salary range starting at $96,928 per year
