Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Technician

Operio Group
Fort Worth, TX Full Time
POSTED ON 5/11/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 6/7/2026
The Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Technician is responsible for the accurate and efficient movement of goods through LFA Machines' warehouse. This includes receiving inbound shipments, verifying stock, picking and packing outgoing orders, and maintaining the integrity of our inventory management system. The role is central to ensuring that customers receive their orders correctly and on time.

Full in-house training is provided. We welcome candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a practical hands-on attitude — prior warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Goods-In

  • Unload incoming containers and ground deliveries safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect inbound shipments for damage, shortages, and discrepancies against purchase orders.
  • Process goods-in procedures: count, sort, label, and check items into the stock management system.
  • Report and document any discrepancies or damaged goods to the Warehouse Manager.

Shipping & Dispatch

  • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders accurately and to the required standard.
  • Apply correct labelling, packaging, and documentation to all outbound shipments.
  • Coordinate with couriers and freight providers to schedule collections and ensure on-time dispatch.
  • Conduct quality checks on outgoing goods — including machines and products — before dispatch.

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Maintain accurate stock records using the company's inventory management system.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and assist with annual stock takes.
  • Organize and maintain a clean, orderly warehouse to support efficient stock location and retrieval.
  • Flag low stock levels and assist with replenishment requests.

General Warehouse Operations

  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet trucks, hand trucks) safely and responsibly.
  • Support the wider operations team with general warehouse duties as required.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment at all times.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and company policies.

Essential

Job Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work methodically and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills for processing documentation and stock records.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to follow safety procedures and legal regulations at all times.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, or logistics environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management or logistics software systems.
  • Forklift or pallet truck license (training can be provided in-house).
  • Food Safety Level 2 or higher (training available in-house).
  • Completion of a relevant apprenticeship program (can be completed in-house).

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent lifting and carrying of products and equipment weighing up to 55 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and moving throughout the warehouse.
  • Regular reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.
  • Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and fingers for packing and processing tasks.
