What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at Operations/Transportation Building?
Position is on an as needed basis and can be at any of our school buildings.
Custodial duties include:
Taking out trash
Sweeping
Mopping
Stripping floors as assigned
Waxing floors as assigned
Other duties as specified by immediate supervisor
Must follow routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficency of building operations and grounds.
Must have ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures.
Knowldege of minor repair techniques and building and grounds maintenance.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment.
Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies.
