What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver - Part Time position at Operations Office?
NOTE: YOU WILL NOT HAVE A MORNING OR AFTERNOON ROUTE FOR STUDENT PICKUP AS WE DO NOT BUS OUR STUDENTS TO AND FROM SCHOOL.
All driving will be for field trips.
Qualifications:
Any combination equivalent to high school diploma, G.E.D. Certificate or demonstrated progress toward obtaining a G.E.D. as required by Kentucky law.
One year experience in the operation of a motor vehicle.
Must have valid KY Commercial Class B driver's license, including passenger endorsement.
School Bus Certificate
Must have CDL license.
Must pass driving record check.
You must operate a school bus/other school vehicles in a safe manner. To provide safe and efficient transportation for District students to and from field trips. Other duties as assigned.
For this type of employment , state law requires a national and state criminal history background check and a letter, provided by the individual, from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services stating the employee is clear to hire based on no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect found through a background check of child abuse and neglect records maintained by the Cabinet and Family Services as a condition of employment.
