Job Description
The Water Treatment Operator will be responsible for participating in day-to-day operations and maintenance activities of drinking water treatment and distribution systems. The system consists of two sets of groundwater wells with treatment systems, six storage tanks, and a departmental distribution system.
- Operators work Monday through Friday between 7am-4pm but also participate in an on-call rotation providing system coverage outside regular working hours including weekends.
- Duties include process monitoring daily maintaining compliance following established safety procedures emergency response measures which may involve work under inclement weather conditions as required.
