In this role, you will provide essential counseling, case management, and advocacy services to individuals and families navigating life transitions, mental health challenges, or socioeconomic barriers. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess client needs, develop tailored intervention plans, and connect clients with critical community resources.We are looking for an empathetic, social justice-driven professional committed to empowering underserved populations. If you’re passionate about making a meaningful impact, join us in our mission to strengthen communities and uplift lives. Key ResponsibilitiesBuild trusting, culturally sensitive relationships with clients from diverse backgroundsDeliver therapeutic support through individual and group counseling sessionsPerform comprehensive assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and goalsCreate, implement, and monitor customized treatment plansPartner with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations for holistic supportRefer clients to appropriate external specialists, services, or programsMaintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with regulationsQualifications and SkillsValid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) strongly preferredBachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW); Master's degree (MSW) strongly preferred1 years of experience in social work, preferably in nonprofit or community-based environmentsKnowledge of trauma-informed care, mental health practices, and social justice principlesProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic case management systemsCommitment to complete Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training within 6 months of hire (and every 5 years thereafter)What We OfferStarting salary of $50,000 , commensurate with experience and licensureHealth & Wellness: Dental insurance, vision insurancePaid time off (PTO)Paid HolidaysAdditional benefits discussed at the offer stage Operation Empower is an equal opportunity employer, and we warmly encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply, as we are committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace.
