Warehouse Supervisor - Printing

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Warehouse Supervisor in Marietta, GA. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all receiving and fulfillment operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety. This role directly supervises the Receiving & Fulfillment Associates, providing direction, support, and performance oversight. The Supervisor ensures that all incoming goods are processed correctly, inventory is maintained accurately, and outbound orders are fulfilled on time and to quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Staff Oversight:

• Supervise Receiving & Fulfillment Associates, ensuring all duties are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Work with Production Manager to assign daily tasks for receiving, fulfillment, cycle counting, and shipping.
• Train new hires on warehouse processes, systems, and safety protocols.
• Monitor team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and corrective action as needed.

Receiving Oversight:

• Ensure all incoming shipments are received, verified, and matched to Job Tickets or Purchase Orders.
• Oversee inspection, labeling, and proper storage of products.
• Confirm damaged or incorrect items are reported in SharePoint with photos and resolved promptly.
• Maintain an organized and safe receiving area, free of obstructions or hazards.

Fulfillment Oversight:

• Monitor the picking process to ensure items are pulled accurately from inventory.
• Ensure quality checks are performed on all outbound items before packing.
• Oversee apparel folding, bagging, and labeling processes.
• Work with Production Manager to confirm all shipments are packed securely, labeled correctly, and staged for carrier pickup according to schedule.

Inventory & Documentation:

• Oversee regular cycle counts and reconciliation of variances.
• Ensure all product movements and fulfillment activities are accurately documented in SharePoint or warehouse systems.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Reps and Purchasing to address shortages or overages.

Safety & Process Improvement:

• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards for equipment operation and warehouse practices.
• Conduct regular safety checks and lead corrective actions.
• Recommend and implement workflow or layout changes to improve productivity and reduce errors.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of warehouse experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong understanding of receiving, fulfillment, and inventory control processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SharePoint or WMS preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.

Schedule: 8 AM - 4 PM or 9 AM - 5 PM, $18-$21/hr
