Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Maintenance Installer for a well-established company located in East Austin, Texas. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing and maintaining a variety of hardware and fixtures used in daily operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
As a Handyman, you’ll be responsible for:
Installing a variety of hardware, including door closers, door keypads, cabinets, restroom fixtures, cabinet door hardware, grab bars, etc.
Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials to meet specifications
Ensuring all installations meet safety and quality standards
Collaborating with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects on time
Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with team members
Performing other related duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
2 years of experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or in related work (required)
Strong skills in measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing hardware or fixtures
Ability to follow instructions and read technical drawings or specifications
Attention to detail and craftsmanship
Knowledge of construction and safety practices
Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent

Steady Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional overtime as needed
