Forklift Operator ( 1st Shift)

Openwork is hiring an experienced Forklift Operator for a manufacturing facility in Denton, TX. This hands-on position supports daily warehouse, shipping and receiving, and material-handling operations, including moving, staging, loading, and unloading large or oversized materials.

Qualified candidates should have at least 2 years of recent sit-down forklift experience along with previous shipping and receiving experience. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

Location: Denton, TX
Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour | Higher pay available based on experience | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Shift: 1st Shift
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Overtime: Required as needed

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move and stage materials
• Support daily shipping and receiving operations
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
• Verify, organize, and stage materials for shipment or production
• Move, stack, and handle large wooden or oversized materials
• Ensure materials are properly secured and safely positioned
• Assist with shipping and receiving paperwork
• Inspect materials for visible damage or discrepancies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and forklift guidelines

• Minimum 2 years of recent sit-down forklift experience
• Previous shipping and receiving experience
• Experience loading and unloading trucks
• Experience moving and staging warehouse or manufacturing materials
• Experience handling heavy or oversized materials preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and organization
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to meet background check and drug screening requirements

• Active manufacturing and warehouse environment
• Frequent forklift operation and material handling
• Regular loading, unloading, staging, and movement of materials
• Work around large or oversized products and equipment
• Consistent attention to workplace and forklift safety

• Starting at $20.00 per hour with higher pay available based on experience
