Role Description
The Sr. Director, Sponsorship Sales role is a full-time hybrid position based in New York, NY, with flexibility for remote work. The individual will drive sponsorship revenue by developing and managing client relationships, building effective sales strategies, and identifying new business opportunities. Key responsibilities include overseeing the sales team, creating tailored sponsorship packages, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution. The VP will also spearhead business development initiatives, represent OpenFortune at industry events, and maintain a strong network to drive partnerships with innovative brand collaborators.
Qualifications
- $300,000-$400,000 OTE
- 7 Years Sponsorship or Brand Partnership Sales Experience
- Expertise in Brand Partnerships Sales with proven ability to meet targets
- Proficiency in Business Development with a track record of identifying and pursuing strategic opportunities to drive growth
- Exceptional communication, and negotiation skills
- Experience working in advertising, media, or sponsorship sales, preferably with a focus on innovative client solutions
- Strategic mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making and a deep understanding of market trends
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales platforms; prior experience with Salesforce is a plus
