Role Summary
This dual-role position supports both day-to-day IVF laboratory operations and tissue bank coordination. You will play a key role in maintaining lab organization, managing inventory, coordinating the transport of reproductive tissue (eggs, sperm, embryos), and ensuring accurate data entry.
Some day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Support daily lab operations, including data entry, cleaning, and preparation for procedures
- Maintain lab inventory and organize supplies
- Assist with coordinating and tracking the transport of eggs, sperm, and embryos
- Prepare and manage documentation for tissue transport and storage
- Enter and maintain accurate data in EMR and reporting systems (SART/NASS)
- Communicate with internal teams, patients, and external clinics to support coordination efforts
- Follow all lab protocols and regulatory guidelines to ensure quality and compliance
Education and Skills
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (required)
- 1 years of experience in healthcare or a lab setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfort working with data and systems (EMR experience a plus)
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Interest in reproductive health or laboratory work
Employment Type
This is a full-time, non-exempt, onsite position (40 hours per week, 8 hours per day) with rotating weekend and holiday responsibilities.
Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 annually. Salary is based on several factors including job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
