Job summary
Our company is seeking a Quality Technician to support our comprehensive,enterprise-wide Quality Management System. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Performing sample inspections & measurements of incoming parts
- Processing non-confirming materials for testing or disposition
- Performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) of new parts and/or parts from new suppliers
- Completing internal audits and associated documentation
- Interpreting engineering prints and schematics
- Supporting safety and quality initiatives such as 5S, ESD, FOD,ISO
- Assisting in the Material Review Board process
- Maintaining information systems
- Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations
- Reviewing, analyzing, and reporting on quality discrepancies
- Robotics quality goals
Requirements:
- Experience in a fast paced manufacturing setting
- Experience with precisions instrumentation and complex electromechanical systems
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Comfort in a fast-changing, cross-functional team environment
- High standards of accuracy, rigor, and timeliness
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
