Job summary
The Principal Director of Enterprise Data & Platforms will serve as a technical leader and strategic partner to the CIO, responsible for defining and executing the enterprise data strategy across the organization.
This role requires a hands-on leader with deep expertise in Oracle Energy & Water platforms, Oracle data integration/analytics platforms (FAIDP & UAIDP), and Microsoft Fabric, who can architect scalable, enterprise-grade data solutions while leading high-performing data teams.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the enterprise data architecture leader reporting directly to the CIO.
- Define and execute the enterprise data strategy, roadmap, and modernization initiatives.
- Act as the primary technical authority on data architecture, platforms, and integration across the organization.
- Partner with executive leadership to align data strategy with business, regulatory, and operational goals.
- Lead the design and evolution of a modern data platform using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake).
- Establish enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and governance frameworks.
- Drive adoption of scalable, reusable data products and domain-driven architecture.
- Provide deep technical leadership in designing enterprise data models and dimensional schemas.
- Architect integrated data models across:
- Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CCS / CC&B)
- Oracle Field Service (OFS)
- Oracle Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS)
- ERP systems (including Oracle Fusion ERP)
- Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
Requirements:
- Experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data leadership
- Experience in a leadership role (Manager, Sr. Manager, or Director level)
