What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quantitative Developer position at Open Systems Technologies?
The successful candidate will have experience with options pricing (or valuation) in trading and current performance and optimization experience.
This is NOT an embedded software development opportunity.
Candidates that work here:
- You have direct experience with options pricing OR
- You have any experience with options pricing OR
- If neither 1 or 2, then you have experience with valuation models, and large amounts of data
What you will do:
- Work with quant researchers to understand pricing logic and implement models in C and C#. You will be responsible for translating complex mathematical models into software applications.
- Develop and improve critical options pricing applications in a performance demanding environment and handle large scale data.
- Integrate pricing with existing trading infrastructure and data systems. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between systems in our low latency trading environment.
Looking for:
- At least 5 years of software development experience in C is preferred or C#
- Familiarity with financial concepts and instruments related to quantitative trading, pricing, or valuation is required
- Previous experience in options trading is a big plus
- Experience with Python, notebooks, and data analysis is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent.
