Open Site Excavation, Inc. is a family owned/operated excavation company located in Grasonville Maryland. We are currently seeking honest, trustworthy & dependable candidates to join our team. All applicants must have experience operating excavator, skid steer, dozer, loader, backhoe etc. Ability to read and lay out plans preferred. Compensation commensurate with experience & performance. Clean driving record a must, CDL a plus. Must be able to commute daily to shop located in Grasonville, MD. Occasional overnight travel. Job Duties Include:Maneuvers motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials.Observe stipulated safety codes at all timesReport injuries and equipment damage to managementInspect trucks, excavators, bulldozers and other heavy equipment for proper performanceOperate bulldozers, excavators, articulated dump trucks, scrapers, and other equipmentDrive pick-ups, flatbeds, and water trucks as neededSet up and maintain erosion controlSet up and maintain traffic controlCheck and maintain grade stakesProvide general maintenance of equipment and toolsTrenching, clearing and mass gradingJob Type: Full-timeBenefits: Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurance Experience: Heavy equipment operation: 2 years (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Grasonville, MD (Required) Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
