Job Overview
We are seeking a professional, reliable Project Support Specialist to support customer-facing outreach activities related to capital projects. This is a field-based role that involves assembling and delivering project communication materials to customers across New Jersey.
The ideal candidate is organized, physically active, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while traveling across multiple municipalities per day.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform door-to-door delivery of project outreach materials across assigned municipalities
- Assemble and organize outreach packets per provided specifications
- Deliver materials to residential properties and hang notices on doors
- Travel to 4–5 municipalities per day as scheduled
- Walk 7–10 miles per day while completing deliveries
- Document and report any significant findings encountered during field activities
- Support communication efforts to ensure successful project completion
- Collect and coordinate basic project-related information as needed
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Valid NJ Driver’s License (required)
- Reliable personal vehicle (Uber/public transportation not accepted)
- Willingness to travel across Northern and Central NJ (occasional South NJ travel 2–3 times per year)
- Ability to walk 7–10 miles daily
- Strong professionalism, punctuality, and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable using basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $24.99 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
