Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Product Coordinator to support our category management team. This is a junior-level role designed for individuals eager to build a solid foundation and advance their career within the retail and consumer products industry. The Product Coordinator will focus on entering and maintaining product data in the ERP system, tracking samples, and supporting essential tasks across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain item numbers and product records in the ERP system
- Input and update product specifications and vendor information
- Track and manage product samples to ensure timely delivery and proper organization
- Verify packaging, labeling, and related details meet customer requirements
- Assist in preparing product presentations and coordinating internal meetings
- Ensure data accuracy across systems and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, sourcing, and sales
- Provide administrative and coordination support to Category Managers and the category management team
- Support timeline management established by Category Management to keep opportunities on track, proactively identifying issues and escalating them to the team
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of product development or merchandising processes a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic database systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
