Cybersecurity Governance & SOC Consultant

CRDF Global is seeking an experienced cybersecurity consultant to support proposal development for a national cybersecurity initiative in Argentina. The consultant will provide technical, policy, and government engagement expertise related to cybersecurity governance, Security Operations Centers (SOCs), and public-sector cybersecurity programs. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Advise on Argentina's cybersecurity governance, legal, and policy environment. 

• Provide insight into relevant government ministries, agencies, regulators, and cybersecurity stakeholders. 

• Support the design of a sustainable, civilian-led national Security Operations Center (SOC). 

• Recommend approaches for government engagement, interagency coordination, and stakeholder buy-in. 

• Contribute to proposal development through technical input, reviews, and written content. 

• Identify implementation risks, challenges, and opportunities within the Argentine context. 

Required Qualifications 

• Professional fluency in English and Spanish. 

• 10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity, cyber policy, digital governance, or related fields. 

• Demonstrated experience working with Argentine government institutions or public-sector cybersecurity programs. 

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity governance, national cyber strategies, SOCs, CERTs/CSIRTs, cyber policy, or critical infrastructure security. 

• Excellent analytical, writing, and stakeholder engagement skills. 

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and respond quickly to proposal needs. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience advising government ministries or national agencies on cybersecurity policy, governance, or institutional reform. 

• Experience supporting the establishment, assessment, or operation of government SOCs or cyber incident response capabilities. 

• Familiarity with cybersecurity legislation, data protection, information sharing, and incident response frameworks. 

• Experience coordinating across government, regulatory, and critical infrastructure stakeholders.
