Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining, configuring, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, operating systems, and software applications.
- Help perform system and software upgrades, system backup, and recovery operations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure security and efficiency.
- Document IT supports activities and maintains records of system configurations and inventories.
- Collaborate with the IT team to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Provide technical support to end users and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- This can include off-site visits to our contracted partners and brands.
- Participate in IT projects under direct supervision, contributing to the deployment of new technologies and systems.
- Assist in managing user accounts and permissions, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Support disaster recovery plans and participate in data integrity checks.
- Participate in departmental on-call rotation, providing after-hours support as needed.
- New and existing workstation relocations upon request.
- Workstation reprovisioning of broken equipment
- Associate’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field and/or a combination of education and experience
- Basic understanding of computer network systems, architecture, and terminology
- Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux operating systems System Administrator I Job Description 2
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
Preferred
- 2 years’ experience in IT support or system administration
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , Security , or vendor-specific certifications like CCNA, JNCIA or FCA
- Experience with system monitoring tools and basic network configurations
