Summary/Objective
- Provide immediate response to chat guests
- Manage concurrent chats engage with multiple customers at the same time.
- Determine the quickest, most effective ways to answer a guest’s questions by listening to their concerns, issues and questions while maintaining a positive attitude and closing a sale.
- Convert chat guests into viable sales prospects by creating desire for online customers to speak to the sales team
- Understand and guide guests through their experience on the website through chat as part of the sales continuation journey
- Ensure guest information is accurate and provided to the sales team in a timely manner
- Appropriately handle customer escalations with the goal of maintaining positive customer experience
- Educate online guests on current/future new product offerings, developing new revenue from existing customers by selling additional products and services through use of recommended sales techniques
- Answer all guest product and service questions, assisting the guest in booking their cruise, and validate complete bookings that are placed via chat
- Follow up with online customers using the tools and process provided
- Other duties as assigned
- 2-3 years of experience in an online customer service or sales role
- High School Diploma
- Strong reading comprehension and written communication skills
- Exceptional typing skills
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite and other computer programs
- Cruise sales and service knowledge a plus
- Ability to respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Goal and detail oriented
- Ability to apply appropriate sales techniques and adapt
- Business casual attire is required for this role reflecting a polished appearance.
- $22.00 per hour commission.
