The Senior Data Analyst is a member of the Open iT Technical Pre-sales and Data Analysis Team who has the opportunity to develop deep expertise in software licensing and software asset management. This role plays a key strategic role in allowing clients to make data-driven business decisions to achieve their financial goals. We are looking for someone with strong and proven analytics, cross-team collaboration, multi-tasking skills, and consistent, high-quality execution and delivery.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research and document software licensing practices and models.
- Collect and interpret data, analyze results using advanced statistical techniques, provide ongoing reports, and carry out our client-facing presentations.
- Deliver requirements according to strict and competing timelines with high accuracy.
- Drive cost optimization efforts by collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Leverage Open iT tools to collect data, interpret findings, and make data-driven, actionable technical recommendations to help reduce ongoing costs.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to present complex technical and financial solutions in a simplified, straight-forward approach
- Proven analytics and data reporting experience with the ability to extract actionable and meaningful insights from the data
- Great attention to detail and organization skills
- Strong adaptability to different tech systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working experience in Data Analysis, Project Management, Accounting, and/or FinOps
- Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Report Builder, Python and SQL
- Chargeback experience
