We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and patient-focused Mobile Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality venipuncture and specimen collection while ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced or high-volume settings. This position plays a key role in supporting daily lab operations, maintaining compliance with all safety and quality standards, and ensuring specimens are collected, labeled, and processed correctly for timely testing.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection following established protocols and safety standards.
- Ensure proper identification of patients and accuracy in labeling specimens.
- Prepare, process, and package specimens according to laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of mobile phlebotomy supplies and report/replace expired items following established procedures.
- Provide excellent client services and communicate effectively with patients to ensure patients feel comfortable, respected, and informed.
- Always adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Document all draws/collections in the required logs.
- Collaborate with laboratory personnel to ensure efficient specimen handling and processing.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Mobile Phlebotomist with 1 – 2 years of experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR check may be required).
- Valid proof of appropriate auto insurance.
- Must be open to driving their own vehicle.
- Proficient in phlebotomy techniques, including blood sampling and venipuncture.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to laboratory procedures.
- Proficient in using GPS, routing apps, and mobile communication devices for route management.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a mobile setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact compassionately with patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in specimen collection and documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment
LICENSE & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Current CPT 1 License is required
SCHEDULE
- Monday to Friday: early morning shifts are available.
- Disclaimer: Most laboratory and phlebotomy positions may require working in the weekends as needed or on a rotating schedule.

Open Healthcare US offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The reasonable estimated salary for this role ranges from $20 to $25 per hour. Actual compensation is based upon factors such as the candidate's education, skills, qualifications, and related work experience.
