Job Overview


The Vice President of Financial Operations is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and execution of the company's financial operations system, ensuring that financial management, budget control, fund management, cost optimization, and business growth objectives are highly aligned. This position supports the company's strategic decision-making, profitability improvement, and long-term sustainable development by establishing an efficient, compliant, and scalable financial operations system. Core Responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Operations Management


Develop and implement the company's financial operations strategy to support business growth and improve capital efficiency.


Build and optimize the financial operations system (budgeting, accounting, treasury, tax, risk control).


Ensure financial operations processes are efficient, standardized, automated, and scalable.


Budget Management and Performance Analysis


Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and medium- to long-term financial planning.


Establish a financial analysis and business insight system to support management decision-making.


Track key performance indicators (revenue, profit, cash flow, costs, ROI) to drive target achievement.


Treasury Management and Capital Efficiency


Responsible for financial planning, cash flow management, financing structure optimization, and capital allocation.


Manage relationships with banks, investment institutions, and financial partners.


Ensure financial security, sufficient liquidity, and optimal cost of capital.


Cost Control and Profitability Optimization


Design cost control and expense management strategies to improve operational efficiency and profit margins.


Drive cost reduction, efficiency improvement, pricing strategy optimization, and profitability model optimization.


Establish an investment return evaluation system to support major project and capital expenditure decisions.


Internal Control, Compliance, and Risk Management


Establish and improve the internal control system to prevent financial and operational risks.


Ensure effective implementation of financial compliance, tax compliance, and audit requirements.


Participate in risk assessment, emergency management, and compliance review mechanisms.


System and Digital Financial Transformation


Promote the upgrade and digital transformation of financial systems (ERP, BI, automated financial tools).


Build an intelligent financial analysis and management reporting system.


Utilize data to improve financial operational efficiency and transparency.


Team Management and Cross-Departmental Collaboration


Lead the financial operations team (accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, etc.).


Collaborate with business, operations, legal, HR, IT, and other departments to drive strategic execution.


Build a high-performing financial team and enhance organizational capabilities and professional standards.

Budget execution rate and cost control effectiveness


Cash flow health and cash conversion cycle


Profit margin, gross margin, and EBITDA improvement


Financial report accuracy and timeliness

Qualifications

Basic Requirements


Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.


20 years of experience in financial management, including 15 years in a leadership role. Over [Number] years of senior-level financial management experience


Experience in financial operations of large enterprises, listed companies, or multinational corporations is preferred.


Professional Skills


Proficient in financial management, budget control, cash management, tax planning, and internal control systems


Familiar with Chinese and/or international accounting standards (CAS / IFRS / US GAAP)


Possesses strong financial modeling, business analysis, and strategic decision-making support capabilities


Management and Leadership


Possesses excellent team leadership and cross-departmental collaboration skills


Outstanding strategic thinking, communication skills, and execution ability


Able to drive change and deliver results in high-pressure and complex environments
