We are seeking a highly technical Unified Communications (UC) Engineer with deep Zoom expertise and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Webex, and Cisco collaboration platforms.

 

This role engineers, configures, and supports enterprise-grade virtual events and serves as a senior escalation point during high-visibility live productions. The ideal candidate combines hands-on platform engineering with strong network fundamentals and live production experience.

 

This is not a helpdesk role,  it is a live event engineering position operating in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments where reliability and redundancy are critical.


Key Responsibilities

Platform Engineering

  • Architect and configure Zoom Meetings, Webinars, Events, Backstage, Rooms, and ISO workflows
  • Configure Teams Live Events, Webex Events, and Cisco Meeting Server sessions
  • Support cross-platform interoperability (Zoom/Teams/Webex and SIP/H.323)
  • Maintain standardized build templates and admin configurations

Live Event Engineering & Escalation

  • Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support during live events
  • Troubleshoot real-time audio/video, encoding, and signal routing issues
  • Diagnose network performance (latency, jitter, packet loss, QoS)
  • Design redundancy and failover protocols
  • Lead incident response and structured RCA documentation

Network & Systems Support

  • Conduct stress testing and capacity planning
  • Support hybrid and cloud-based architectures

Optimization & Automation

  • Implement feature updates and platform improvements
  • Develop configuration playbooks and documentation
  • Identify automation opportunities (target 30–40% reduction in manual setup)
  • Contribute to long-term scalability planning


Required Qualifications

  • 4 years hands-on Zoom platform experience (Meetings, Webinars, Admin, Rooms)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Webex
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale live productions
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and SIP/H.323
  • Experience with RTMP and video routing workflows
  • Strong escalation management and documentation skills

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
