Open Door Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission founded in 1954 committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty. Each day, Open Door Mission’s campus offers 917 safe, shelter beds to people experiencing homelessness, serves over 4,747 nutritious meals to feed the hungry, and provides homeless preventive resources to more than 1,000 people living in poverty to empower them to remain in their own homes.

About This Position

This position supports long-term planning, collaboration, partnerships, budgeting, and staff development. Serves as a member of the Open Door Mission Senior Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision of Program Directors, Permanent Supportive Housing Manger, Adult Education Coordinator, and Children and Youth Coordinator.
- Ensure the efficacy of the overarching ministry program, philosophy, and focus that meets the spiritual, developmental, physical, and social needs of men, women, and families served at Open Door Mission.
- Provide operational oversight of Open Door Mission program facilities.
- Provide oversight of designated program operations idenitfying needs and opportunities for development.
- Assist direct reports with the creation of policies and procedures evaluation and updating as necessary.
- Build and maintain relationship with local community memebrs, churches, and other organizations acting as a liason for Open Door Mission.
- Oversee the creation and delegation of program department budgets ensuring proper documentation and budget alignment.
- Exemplify Jesus Christ daily, sharing the gospel or praying with others as opportunities arise.
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Business Administration, or related field.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in nonprofit program management.
- Must have 2-3 years' experiences in public speaking and/or media-related work.
- A visible relationship with Christ and regularly attend a Bible-believing church.
- The ability to share the Gospel as opportunities arise.
- Knowledge in development of programs, fundraising, and budget controls.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams, staff supervision, and fostering a collaborative, mission-driven team culture

- Pay Range: $67,500 - $117,875 annually
- Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly
- Schedule: 40 hours a week
