About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and service‑driven Guest Service Representative to join our front office team. This position is the face of the hotel, responsible for creating a welcoming experience, managing guest interactions, and ensuring smooth daily operations at the front desk.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and manage check‑ins and check‑outs using the property management system (PMS).
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in person, by phone, and through digital channels.
- Maintain accurate reservations, room assignments, and billing information.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs.
- Process payments, refunds, and authorizations following company cash‑handling and PCI standards.
- Provide local recommendations, assist with transportation needs, and support overall guest satisfaction.
- Resolve guest issues with professionalism and document incidents appropriately.
- Uphold hotel policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Comfortable using computers, PMS systems, and multi‑line phone systems.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 lbs.
