Open Door Center is seeking compassionate, dependable, and caring individuals to join our team as Awake Night Staff in our Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) Group Home. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals we support during overnight hours.
Responsibilities
- Remain awake and alert throughout the overnight shift.
- Monitor the safety and well-being of residents.
- Assist individuals with personal care needs as required.
- Complete routine safety checks and documentation.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident needs.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and preparation for the next day.
- Promote a supportive, respectful, and person-centered environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required.
- Must pass required background checks.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
