About Us :
Open Arms Christian Child Development Center is a not-for-profit ministry of New Hope Lutheran Church, providing early childhood education and care of the highest quality designed to meet the needs of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years old.
Assistant Teacher Preschool Job Qualifications:
- Have a loving, nurturing personality and a positive attitude!
- Experience working with preschool age children in a child care setting
- Coursework in early childhood education or have a CDA preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus!
- Must be available to work M-F until 6:00 pm. No exceptions.
Assistant Teacher Preschool Responsibilities:
- Supervise children to maintain their health and safety at all times
- Provide excellent customer service to all children, families and co-workers
- Assist in creating an attractive, positive classroom environment
- Assist in planning, supervising and implementing curriculum
- Follow classroom daily schedule
