What You'll Do
As a Teacher Assistant, you'll work alongside our Lead Teachers to help create a classroom where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with daily classroom routines and learning activities.
- Building positive relationships with children and their families.
- Supervising children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, rest time, and transitions.
- Assisting with diapering, toileting, feeding, and other daily care needs.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
- Helping children develop socially, emotionally, physically, and academically through play and hands-on learning.
- Following all Florida licensing regulations and Open Arms policies to ensure the health and safety of every child.
- Working as part of a supportive team to provide exceptional care and education.
Qualifications

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare center or school setting.
- Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening.
- Reliable transportation.
- Florida DCF 40-Hour Introductory Child Care Training completed, or willingness to complete it within six months of hire.
