We are currently seeking a Recreational Therapist (CTRS) to join our Clinical Services Department. This reports directly to the Director of Clinical Director and plays a key role in providing therapeutic activities that support patients’ emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being.

- Deliver a full range of recreational therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions, in accordance with professional standards and ethical guidelines.
- Plan, schedule, and lead activities designed to improve leisure skills, socialization, physical fitness, cognitive functioning, and creativity (e.g., arts and crafts, exercise, group activities).
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary clinical team to support each patient's overall psychosocial needs.
- Track patient participation, monitor progress, and document therapeutic outcomes accurately and timely.
- Facilitate and document individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring detailed, compliant clinical notes.
- Participate in psychiatric medication management meetings with patients and psychiatrists as needed.
- Observe and provide feedback on patient engagement during activities, adjusting plans as necessary to meet individualized goals.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Recreational Therapy or related experience.
- Must be a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to engage with diverse patient populations with compassion, creativity, and professionalism.
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
