Minimum Qualifications:
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the United States.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical assessments and patient management across family medicine, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
- Knowledge of pain management principles and trauma care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Additional certifications in Pain Management or Geriatric Nursing.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
- Experience in community health or outpatient clinical settings.
- Strong background in patient safety initiatives and quality improvement projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and physical examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, utilizing evidence-based protocols and clinical guidelines.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including pain management strategies and trauma-informed care approaches.
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as appropriate, while monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatments accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure adherence to patient safety standards.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
