What You’ll Do
- Perform daily housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout the facility.
- Clean resident and common areas, offices, restrooms, therapy areas, activity rooms, hallways, entrances, lounges, lobbies, utility areas, and other assigned spaces.
- Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and infection control standards.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive environment for residents, families, visitors, and employees.
- Respond promptly to emergency housekeeping needs and spills.
- Properly use cleaning products, equipment, and supplies.
- Work cooperatively with nursing, dietary, maintenance, therapy, and other departments to support the needs of residents.
- Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and follow the facility dress code.
- Help create a welcoming, respectful, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare, nursing home, assisted living, hospital, hotel, or other commercial setting is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping and cleaning procedures preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions, cleaning schedules, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
- Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
