Role Description
As a Hospice Volunteer, you will:
- Provide companionship through conversation, reading, music, or presence
- Support family caregivers with respite breaks
- Assist with light errands or office support (depending on role)
- Participate in special projects, events, or community outreach
- Offer comfort and dignity to patients and families during a difficult journey
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Compassionate, reliable, and respectful of patient/family needs
- Able to complete required orientation and training
- Willing to undergo background check, TB screening, and reference check
- No prior healthcare experience necessary — we provide training and ongoing support
- Make a lasting impact in the lives of patients and families
