We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ETL Developer with a strong background in cloud-based data solutions to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in building robust data pipelines using AWS services (Glue, Lambda, Airflow, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Redshift, S3, Iceberg, Data Zone) and a proven track record in ETL development and data warehousing. This role requires proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development with Terraform, strong scripting abilities in PowerShell, C#, Python, and PySpark, and in-depth knowledge of SSIS, SQL, and T-SQL. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex ETL workflows, optimizing data processes, and addressing architectural challenges to ensure seamless data integration and migration. Experience with both AWS and Azure platforms and relevant certifications are highly preferred. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other IT-related fields. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in software development. Technical Skills: Extensive experience in building data pipelines using cloud services like Glue, Lambda, Airflow, Step functions, Dynamo, Data Zone, Redshift, S3, Iceberg, etc. Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modeling. Experience in building CI/CD pipelines using Terraform. Expertise in scripting and programming skills in PowerShell, C#, Python, PySpark (for automation). Experience in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services). Strong SQL and T-SQL programming skills. Knowledge of SQL Server databases, indexing, and performance tuning. Understanding of error handling, logging, and troubleshooting in SSIS & AWS Cloudwatch. Familiarity with Power BI, SSAS, and SSRS is a plus. Soft Skills: Good communication skills and ability to learn new skills. Responsibilities: ETL Development: Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS and custom-developed solutions. Data Transformation: Extract data from various sources, transform it as per business requirements, and load it into data warehouses or databases. Optimization: Optimize SSIS packages for performance and efficiency. Data Integration: Design, develop, test, and deploy data integration solutions to consolidate data from multiple sources. Data Migration: Perform data migration projects, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Incremental Data Loads: Handle incremental data loads and large-volume data processing. Architectural Challenges: Address architectural challenges like cross-account data sharing issues and adding new data sources to data mover. Problem Solving: Implement long-term fixes for recurring problems. Data Mesh Principles: Ensure adherence to data mesh principles like domain ownership and interoperability. Roadmap Maintenance: Maintain a product roadmap for internal ETL solutions and execute on the roadmap. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with stakeholders when new application features are rolled out. Collaboration: Collaborate with the IT Application development team to add features and enhancements to the internal ETL solution. Preferred Qualifications: Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS and Azure. Certifications: AWS Data Engineer Associate, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Hashicorp Terraform Associate.
