Citrix Systems Engineer

We are searching for a Citrix Systems Engineer to support our client onsite at the Washington Navy Yard.

The Role: As a Citrix Systems Engineer you will identify requirements for the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops systems by interacting with the customer and IT infrastructure teams.

· Gather documentation and information used to capture, structure, and accurately represent stakeholder's requirements; design and implement agreed upon solutions; and ensure security requirements from the DISA STIGs and industry best practices are incorporated

· Manage and support the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops version 1912 LTSR and 2203 LTSR Platforms

· Design and deploy additional Citrix capacity and capabilities using Citrix Desktop and Citrix Netscaler Gateway appliances

· Configure and maintain high-available Citrix Netscaler Gateways pairs

· Create and maintain desktop and server images used in Citrix deployments

· Ensure all Citrix based applications are maintained and supported, coordinate with customers on installations upgrades and requirements

· Manage and support Citrix Workspace App 2203 LTSR and later

· Ensure all Citrix based applications are maintained and supported, coordinate with customers on installations upgrades and requirements

· Support of Web Interface for remote access and third party access as well as application virtualization

· Resolve Tier II and III escalated Citrix issues

· Ensure environment complies with DISA STIGs, IAVAs, CTOs, and other security guidance

Required Qualifications:

· An active Secret DoD Clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret DoD Clearance

· Ability to work full time, onsite at the Washington Navy Yard

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar and at least 6 years of work experience; or equivalent work experience.

· An IAT II certification as specified in the DoD 8570

· Experience hardening systems in accordance with DISA's Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

· Must have working experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 1912 LTSR and 2203 LTSR and Citrix Workspace App 2203 LTSR or later versions

· Experience with Citrix Storefront and managing Citrix Application Virtualization

· Experience planning and upgrading large Citrix VDI environments

· Experience configuring and customizing Citrix Netscaler Gateways

· Windows Operating Systems: Windows 2016, Windows 2019, Windows 2022 and Windows 10.

· Good technical working knowledge with Active Directory, Network Attached Storage, VMWare, and Network Infrastructure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $145, $190,000.00 per year
