What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Barista/Bartender position at Opal Sol?
We are looking to add an enthusiastic and customer-focused Baristas to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Prepare and Serve Beverages:
- Craft high-quality coffee and espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to standard recipes and customer specifications.
- Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, grinders, and other tools.
- Ensure consistency and quality in every drink served.
- Prepare and mix beverages for guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner according to standards
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service to all guests.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and courteously.
- Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace:
- Keep the bar area, equipment, and customer areas clean and organized according to health and safety standards.
- Regularly clean and sanitize equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and blenders.
- Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and cups.
- Follow proper food handling and hygiene procedures.
- Cash Handling and Point of Sale (POS) Operations:
- Accurately process customer orders and payments using the POS system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions efficiently and correctly.
- Make change and issue receipts.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required
- Hospitality or related industry experience
- Bartender experience required
Requirements:
- Standing for 8-10 hour shifts
- Pulling, pushing, carrying boxes up to 25lbs
