Job Description:

As a Canvasser, you are the face of Opal. You’ll be out in Chicagoland’s vibrant neighborhoods, engaging homeowners and setting appointments for our expert sales team. Your primary mission is to generate interest and schedule free, no-obligation consultations for our premium exterior remodeling services. You don't need to close the deal—you just need to open the door. Perfect for someone who is just starting a career with an interest in sales.

• Canvass assigned neighborhoods door-to-door and engage homeowners in professional, friendly conversations
• Identify home improvement needs and qualify homeowners for scheduled consultations
• Set high-quality appointments using company tools, approved scripts, and mobile CRM
• Support marketing efforts by leaving door hangers and documenting territory coverage
• Work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, rain or shine
• Meet daily and weekly performance goals while maintaining accurate activity logs
• Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to sharpen skills and improve results

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle.
• No sales experience required (prior experience is a plus).
• Willingness to work outdoors and in all weather.
• Must be comfortable walking/ on your feet for 6 hours a day.
• Confident communicator with strong people skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work independently and with a team.
• Resilient mindset with a positive attitude toward rejection.
• Willing to work Saturdays.
• Ability to Commute: Naperville, IL 60540 (Required)
