Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated MALE Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our client in Duluth by offering personalized care and companionship. This position requires a commitment to patient well-being, safety, and dignity.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide medication administration and monitor vital signs as needed
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning and cooking
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and organization
- Observe and report changes in clients' conditions or behaviors to appropriate personnel
- Support clients with mobility assistance, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to reduce feelings of isolation
- Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations
- Provide direct support for individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, or autism
- Assist with patient monitoring and documentation of care provided
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, assisted living, or long-term care settings is preferred
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable
- Familiarity with patient observation techniques and vital sign monitoring
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs
- Understanding of care plans and experience in medication administration is beneficial
