Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to proprietary trading applications
- Communicate incident updates and resolutions to users in a timely and effective manner
- Monitor and analyze trading system performance, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues
- Ensure system stability and uptime during trading hours
- Develop automation tools and scripts to enhance efficiency and reduce manual processes
- Conduct detailed investigations into complex system behaviors to determine root causes and implement optimizations
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in application support, site reliability engineering, or managing high-performance systems
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in a production environment is required
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash
- Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus), databases (SQL and MongoDB), and data-driven analysis is a plus
- Familiarity with enterprise Linux distributions such as CentOS, RHEL, or Rocky Linux is preferred
- Self-motivated with a strong passion for engineering and technical problem-solving
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, traders, and other stakeholders
