Key Responsibilities

• Platform Development: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform enhancements.

• Integrations: Build secure, reliable integrations using REST, SOAP, webhooks, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and related technologies.

• Custom Scripting: Develop scripted REST APIs, business rules, script includes, client scripts, UI policies, and Flow Designer workflows.

• ITSM & CMDB: Configure and extend ITSM capabilities, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog, and CMDB.

• User Experience: Create intuitive, accessible experiences across Employee Center, Service Portal, workspaces, forms, catalogs, and mobile.

• Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders, product owners, architects, and support teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex platform, integration, data, and performance issues. Apply development standards, security controls, automated testing, code review, source control, and release-management practices.

• Innovation: Develop reusable components and documentation, support platform upgrades and releases, and evaluate AI and automation opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience

• ServiceNow Development & Configuration: 4 years of experience.

• JavaScript (Client & Server-side): 3 years of experience.

• API Integration Design & Troubleshooting: 2 years of experience.

• Protocols & Standards (REST/SOAP, JSON/XML, OAuth 2.0, authentication, logging, monitoring): 2 years of experience.

• ServiceNow ITSM Processes & Modules: 2 years of experience.

• Core Tools (Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Catalog, ACLs, automated testing): 2 years of experience.

• Data Models (Tables, reference relationships, CMDB): 2 years of experience.

• UI & Portal Experience (Employee Center, Service Portal, UI Builder, configurable workspaces): 2 years of experience.

• ServiceNow AI (Now Assist, generative AI, Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent, or AI Search): 2 years of experience.

• General Skills: Analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication skills (3 years), and stakeholder collaboration (3 years).

• Certifications / Methodologies: Enterprise integrations experience, accessibility standards, and relevant certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, ITIL).

Desired Skills

• Experience in other ServiceNow domains: ITOM, CSM, HRSD, IRM/GRC, or App Engine.

• Automated deployment pipelines, Agile delivery, and DevOps practices.
