Role Summary
The End User Computing Sr. Quality Engineer leads the design, delivery, and operational excellence of SCE's end-user technology ecosystem. This role ensures platforms are reliable, secure, observable, and intuitive, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
You will own end-to-end service quality and performance, embedding monitoring, telemetry, automation, and Digital Experience (DEX) analytics into platform operations and continuous improvement cycles.

The End User Computing Sr. Quality Engineer leads the design, delivery, and operational excellence of SCE's end-user technology ecosystem. This role ensures platforms are reliable, secure, observable, and intuitive, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
You will own end-to-end service quality and performance, embedding monitoring, telemetry, automation, and Digital Experience (DEX) analytics into platform operations and continuous improvement cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead quality engineering for EUC services across Windows/macOS devices, iPads/iOS, and Microsoft 365.
- Ensure high performance and reliability for collaboration tools including:
- Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote
- SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online
- Integrate and optimize endpoint management platforms:
- Intune (Windows), JAMF (macOS/iOS)
- Partner with identity and security engineering teams using:
- Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Purview
- Build operational excellence through:
- Monitoring, telemetry, automation, observability, and DEX analytics
- Proactively identify service issues, analyze trends, and drive corrective actions to:
- Improve stability, reduce defects, increase usability, and raise customer satisfaction
- Oversee managed services / vendor delivery to ensure service quality and performance
- IT Operations experience in a managed services environment, including vendor oversight and service quality ownership
- Strong engineering fundamentals across endpoint platforms, operational frameworks, and lifecycle management
- Deep EUC expertise:
- Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS
- Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms
- Intune and JAMF
- Defender for Endpoint
- Experience deploying cyber/security tools to end-user devices and ensuring seamless operation
- Agile / DevOps experience including:
- CI/CD pipelines, modern software delivery approaches
- Strong ability to analyze:
- defect trends, incident patterns, reliability/quality metrics
- Ability to evaluate designs for standards compliance and operational readiness
- Strong understanding of:
- M365 integration patterns (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Identity, access, and security controls ( Entra ID, Conditional Access, DLP, compliance)
- Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to both engineers and senior business stakeholders
- ITIL / Agile / DevOps-driven process improvement experience
- Familiarity with DEX analytics, telemetry, and observability platforms
- Experience leading vendor/MSP teams to reduce incident patterns and improve outcomes
- Background in large enterprise environments integrating:
- identity security cloud collaboration platforms
- Experience designing/validating:
- device health metrics, DEX instrumentation, monitoring frameworks
- Hands-on familiarity with:
- endpoint analytics, networking fundamentals, cloud integration patterns
