Maritime Delivery Services (MDS) is an intermodal trucking company with 4 offices in the US. MDS has been in business since 2007 providing safe, reliable service with dedicated staff and business oriented independent contractors. 

The Driver Recruiter will coordinate all aspects of the owner-operator recruiting process and attain measurable results while complying with company directives, local, state, national laws and regulations.

Driver Recruiter Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting and retaining owner-operators in a multi-site organization.
• Partner with Management to forecast and develop plans for key staffing/retention initiatives.
• Manage full cycle recruiting process.
• Create and implement Employment Marketing Strategies to attract qualified owner-operators.
• Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict recruiting initiatives.

Driver Recruiter Preferences:  

• Ability to work with independent contractors. Strong data entry skills
• Ability to manage deadlines
• Flexible to ever changing transportation environment
• committed to the organization and the people
• Team player - Interacts effectively with people externally and internally
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook

Qualifications: 

• 3 years’ experience in driver recruiting
• Transportation/trucking background 
• Working knowledge of DOT driver qualification regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The annualized base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $90,000.00, excluding fringe benefits. If hired at OOCL, the final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we also consider internal equity as part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
