This is a surgery center in Creve Couer, MO! We are looking for staff to work two days a week, Thursday and Friday. This a great opportunity to work only a couple shifts a week!
Responsibilities
- Supervises and directs patient care in the pre-procedure area and post-procedure area.
- Assesses patient needs, develops individual plans of care, and identifies outcomes.
- Ensures that appropriate techniques and practices are used according to accepted standards of practice.
- Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of special needs for various age groups including infant, child,
- adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients when providing care in the surgical suite.
- Assists physician(s) and other endoscopy personnel as needed to ensure good patient care.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in an operating room or ambulatory surgery center setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices and protocols.
- Experience in Pre/Post Surgery.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
