Onyx Funding is a fast-growing commercial mortgage brokerage based in Miami, helping real estate investors and developers across the country secure smart, strategic capital. We’re looking for a Marketing Specialist who can take ownership of our email marketing, social media, and content efforts—someone who can turn data into strategy, and ideas into impact.
This role is ideal for a creative self-starter with strong copywriting skills, a sharp eye for design and tone, and a deep interest in commercial real estate, finance, or startup culture. You’ll be working directly with the leadership team to craft campaigns that engage our audience, showcase our wins, and grow our brand.
What You’ll Do:
- Own and execute Onyx’s email marketing strategy—write, build, and schedule outbound campaigns to clients, lenders, and investors.
- Plan and create content for LinkedIn and other platforms that highlights deal closings, market insights, and team culture.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, analyst, and ops) to develop messaging that supports business goals.
- Track performance metrics and optimize campaigns based on engagement and ROI.
- Maintain brand consistency across all communications and marketing channels.
- Support PR outreach, press submissions, and company events (workshops, panels, conferences).
- Help manage vendor relationships, including design, video, and paid media partners.
- Stay ahead of CRE and finance trends to fuel timely, relevant content.
Who You Are:
- 1–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or content strategy.
- Excellent writer and communicator with strong attention to detail.
- Experience using email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, SendGrid) and social tools (e.g., Canva, Buffer, Later).
- Familiarity with LinkedIn content marketing and B2B audience engagement.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Bonus: Background or interest in real estate, finance, or CRE lending.
